Pilot's Information
September 6th, Friday night is Pilot Night!
Planned activities for those who fly-in on Friday.
- Spaghetti feed, fire pit, trivia and more.
- Camp under your wing this weekend.
- Bring your plane! We love to see what you fly!
Aircraft Parking:
- WAAAM is on the North side of the airfield.
- Aircraft parking is on the grass next to the museum.
- (Transient parking on the apron is extremely limited.)
- Please bring your own tie downs.
- Ground handlers will direct you to parking.
- Be prepared to shut down and push into parking.

Registration:
- Registration is inside the gate at the Southeast corner of the main museum building.
- Aircraft registration of $5.00 includes admission to the museum on all three days.
- Please bring your own tie downs.
Lodging and Accommodations:
- Camp under your wings.
- Showers are available.
- Please bring your own tie downs.
- Scheduled shuttle van between WAAAM and hotels is provided.
- There are plenty of places to stay in Hood River and nearby, but lodging fills up quickly, so don’t delay in making reservations.
Fuel:
- Fuel truck by sign-up: Sign-up at the Classic Wings tent outside the museum hangar.
- Self-serve fuel is also available at Classic Wings on the South ramp.
Airport Information:
- Runway construction has been planned and may begin before the fly-in. Construction should not interfere with the fly-in but be sure to check NOTAMs.
