Memorial Day Celebration - Come join WAAAM as we honor those who have served and continue to serve our great country. This will be an active flight operations day at the museum, weather permiting.

4th of July Extravaganza - Independence Day Celebration includes: L-Birds from across the West Coast flying in to join WAAAM in our annual Hood River Parade formation Fly-by, WWII jeep clubs will also be in attendance. Veterans will be on site to share thier memories with us. BBQ's, picnics and fun for the whole family. WAAAM also plans on firing up our WWII 60" Sperry Search lights before the fire works start.

WAAAM Hangar Dance and Auction - Come join us for wine, cheese, deserts and live music as we auction items to help support the Museum. This will be a pre-purchase ticket event, please inquire for tickets at the museum front desk.

WAAAM will host the 2008 Ring Kings Custome Car Show - Come enjoy a large display of classic, hot rod and custom cars from all over the Northwest.

WAAAM wil host the Oregon Antique Classic Airplane Club including 50-60 antique to classic aircraft from all over the Northwest. The Aircraft will be on display to the public. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and speak to antique airplane pilots.

WAAAM will be attending the 2008 NWAAC McMinville Fly-In. Come see us off as we fly aircraft from the museum to help support antique flying in the Northwest. The NWAAC fly-in is a great event that deserves to be attended by any aviation enthusiast .

WAAAM's biggest event of the year! The 2nd annual 2008 WAAAM Fly-In will be held at the Museum on the Hood River Ken Jernstedt Airfield 4S2 September 5th - 7th. Come support WAAAM as antique aircraft join us from across the nation to celebrate our love for flying. Plane Rides, Food, Activities and much more! The West Side Fire Department Special Dinner with live music provided by the Hood River Jazz Band and dancing. Last years event was a great success, don't miss this years celebration!
