Events

The Sky's the Limit!Visitors surround one of the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum's Ford Model Ts.

WAAAM hosts a variety of events during the year.

  • Second Saturdays - Each month we fly and drive the exhibits. Come and enjoy the fun!
  • WAAAM Traffic Jam Cruise and Car Show - Rev up the engines and join us for a wonderful day filled with old cars of all makes and models.The Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum has large event spaces for outside groups to enjoy.
  • Hood River Annual Fly-In - See hundreds of cool planes and talk to pilots too. This event is a great way to learn about aviation on the ground level.
  • WAAAM Swap Meet - Joining the line up is our Annual Auto and Aero Swap Meet. This event will have both airplane and automobile items of interest. 
  • International Model A Day - Bring the family and friends to enjoy this gathering of Model A Fords (Model Ts welcome too). There is nothing like seeing all of these old cars in motion. If you've got one bring it out to share with the world.

Don't forget about the many fun classes WAAAM has to offer too!Big or small, groups love to come to the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum.

  • WAAAM Camp - This summer class is for kids age 9 to 12. Enjoy this introduction to aviation.
  • Model T Driving School - It is not every day you get to drive a Model T! This special class will give you all you need to know to get one of these antique cars driving.

Other highlights at WAAAM included a play area for kids, class and meeting areas where small groups can get together, a large area inside for special functions, and plenty of space outside for picnics, car rallies, and lots of other fun activities.
